Ok so Liam’s grandma said to read a book called the kingmaker because it is good. But it is not this one. There is another book called the kingmaker that i will have to read one day. Anyways I read this for fun. It is too pornographic for me although I think the slang is right on or at least for someone my age it is right on. 

Don’t waste your time unless you like literary porn. Shelf it. It is fiction and not too long.

  Written in 1953. This book was way ahead of its time. The part about screens reminds me of cell phones today. Really good plot. Title of the book is cool (well hot actually). Kind of like George Orwell's 1984. Protagonist is good. If I remember correctly the ending is good.  This is not the best book of all time but it is relevant to today's world and is an interesting read. Basic plot is a man gets into trouble for saving books.  page it!

  See Brian's review for another opinion. I'm in a neutral mood so hopefully I can provide some insight with a clear head. This book is very interesting. I think if you want to read a book about the Holocaust then read another book. If you want to read a book that will have you wanting to conquer the world or a feel good story then read another book. This book uses his life and situation to drive home the degree in which his idea of perseverance can be applied. I'd say this is more of an academic book towards a school of thought or practice. As a side effect you do get a interesting and horrible story about what happened. I think the biggest take away is essentially summed up by saying 'if you feel important and have something to live for then you can endure anything'. I think a lot of people struggle with the 'having something' part so maybe he lacks in his explanation there. Also the second half of the book is about how he has applied his idea or psycholog

The subtle art of not giving a f - Mark Manson - (bb) - 2016

  I'm starting to catch fire on the blog a little. Shout out Scott and Aunt Tami for the rec on this one.  Huge assist from audio on this one. I was cooking dinner and "reading" and eating and "reading" and driving and "reading" and I could "read" more because my eyes did not get as tired. When I listen to audio I cover my eyes with my hood so I can have as much darkness as possible. The audio production on this book was probably the best I have heard so far. The accents and voice "feeling" were quite good. At one point he talks about being tired and I could hear the tiredness in his voice (the author did not read it and apparently the author never reads it at least from the audio books I have listened to so far (except for Stephen A. Smith lol) but the voice actor did a great job!))
