Scott Hogan - Built From Broken

I was in search of a book to give guidance and actionable advice to help prevent/rehabilitate injury and this book did just that. It gives you the scientific backstory of it all and then slowly translates to how that applies to exercise in which finally makes its way to the exercises to do. I enjoyed the way he explained fairly complex topics in a manner in which was understandable for the person that doesn't know much about this stuff. Something that I didn't anticipate but now appreciate is the format of this book. It is a great tool to come back to when you actually get an injury. You can go through the specific steps he lays out and the exercise that he recommends for that body part. I wasn't anticipating this but will be doing so in the future.

My only caveat to this book is that unless you are looking to prevent/rehabilitate injury then it wouldn't be something id casually read for fun.

Decent book. Read if you want to learn about this stuff.
