Cameron Hanes - Endure - Scott Bowling
I read this book while looking for a 'Can't hurt me' Goggins esque book. It scratched the itch but was nowhere near the caliber of Goggins book. The book starts off discussing his troubled upbringing which was ideal and how he got into running and bowhunting. These things were good, everyone likes a 'prove them wrong' story but I think he lost focus on the reason people are reading his book or maybe I am reading it for the wrong reason. He kept repeating how people would say he didn't need to run in order to bow hunt and I think if I am writing it in here then he said it WAY too many times. The other thing I think he missed was there is an actual section of the book where he quotes negative posts from social media and discusses them. Kind of like a 'haters fuel me' type deal and this was right after he just got done how he doesn't care what people think. So it was just weird because yeah you can not care and still acknowledge it but I mean in all honesty those comments could've been chatgpt just writing it on 1000 posts and you went ahead acknowledged it and wrote it into your book to be there forever. So it was just kind of strange. It just felt like he was filling the pages to fill the pages when if he would've cut it back some then the book would've been solid. It closes talking about his friend and his family and stuff so there are some good but there are also some bad spots throughout the book. If you are into bowhunting then maybe you would like this book more.
Ehhh I wouldn't recommend. Read something else.
i will read something else jajajaj thanks!
