Yoga Bitch - Suzanne Morrison - 2011

200 yay! shout out me and scott! and thanks to scott for having the idea to create this blog.

This is nonfiction. I am not actually sure what to say about this book.

The author reminds me of myself. She is a bit lost. She is searching for God and love. Her journal entries are super honest. She worries a lot. She used to be catholic.

I have read two books about yoga in my life. Both have drawn connections between yoga and the catholic church lol. The first book said yoga is not a religion, but I am not so sure anymore.

This book was comforting in some ways because it makes you realize that other young people are just as lost as you are. They have not figured out life either.

The ending of this book is kind of funny. Basically their yoga retreat leads to less discipline and has a minimal effect on their lives. This was a bit strange to me.

This is not the best book ever, but it is the real account of one woman's yoga retreat in Bali. If you like yoga/are trying to determine if God exists, page it! otherwise shelf it!

p.s. The next three books I read will probably also be about yoga. lol
