the eight mountains - paolo cognetti

Fiction, not that long. Not that good. Basically a guy really loves the mountains, but he ends up living in the mountains too much. The characters are Italian. The plot is kind of boring. Not that much happens. I had to google this to find the title again. If you like nature, I guess this book could be interesting to you but there is better fiction out there. Maybe there is some hidden meaning that I missed.

Perhaps I wrote this already in my review of "the history of time" but since we are talking about mountains, apparently you age less if you live higher up or perhaps more slowly is a better word than less or maybe I am not using the proper word. Apparently this is called time dilation and is basically not noticeable on earth, thanks chat gpt!

Anyways I say shelf this one. Me and scott will have to have a shot of rum once we hit 200 books jajaja. I think there are a few more that will pop into my head that I will be able to add onto the blog.
