Surely You're Joking Mr. Feynman - Richard Phillips Feynman (1985) (bbowling)

 

Super credit to Scott again! This book is money! I feel a major shakeup in the top ten coming. @scott feynman has 3 other books which may be worth reading idk. Out of many books so far I think me and Scott only disagree on one.

I promise to write less this time because I wrote so much (maybe too much for Britney and Malcolm X). This book is better than Britney's book. I put it up there with the Marie Kondo book which I hope to get into the top ten when we meet again. 

This is a must read no doubt! You will be laughing the whole time. I really love Feynman's narration style. I see a lot of myself in him (except that he is 1000 times smarter than me and much more courageous). I really loved the line that he was tired of deciding which dessert to eat at the cafeteria so he decided that he was only going to eat chocolate ice cream from then on (so he wouldnt have to decide anymore). This is something I would do too (jajajaja). I cannot believe he went to the stripper bar 6 days a week (and was married at the time and his wife knew about it) and then testified in court on behalf of the strip bar jajajajajajajaj. And he was an eminent professor of physics at the time (jajjajajajaja). He was never afraid to try new things. (he tried a lot of crazy things and when he tried he really tried and became really good at them). This man is a true genius. I loved when he used his genius to clown people. I wish I was smart enough to do that. 

My only critique was that this man was a bit too sexual at times. He really loved women jajajaja. I accidentally recommended this book to my aunt, my grandma, and my cousin's girlfriend (woops/they might not care idk). The woman perspective may be less favorable. Boy have times changed! He is dancing with and hanging out with students as a professor. I don't think you can do that now. There is also some super funny dating advice in this book. I will have to try it. Basically the advice is don't be a gentleman and be super confident. 

Feynman is the goat. He is a true genius in every sense of the word. He is crazy/very very funny. I highly recommend. page it for sure!! The new top ten will likely come out in April so look to see if this makes it!!!
