When Pride Still Mattered: A Life of Vince Lombardi - David Maraniss
Thanks uncle steve for the recommendation. This book is solid. Lombardi read cook books. He kept his sock drawer in order. He coached before agents so he would rub a player on the head and make a deal that way. He could talk for 8 hours about the power sweep jajajajja. Really interesting information in this book. He came to washington but then died. There used to be ties in the nfl. He was able to tell if the field was 1 yard short. He thought the league was racist against Italian coaches.
page it and enjoy!!! well written well researched!!
