Wake up - Piers Morgan
I read this early on and I believe it was very close to after the pandemic. My thoughts from this book were that he was critical where it needed to be criticized regardless what it was or what it represented. I mean this in a sense of that if I'm a democrat I won't openly criticize democrat policies because that would be me attacking what I believe but I think that's exactly what we need. There is no sense in aligning yourself because when you do then you are no longer objective towards the matter, you get emotionally influenced that skews your perspective. For instance he discusses Megan Markle and how they 'separated' from the royal family but live in Orpah's guest house. I'm not defending Piers because I know he is a heavily debated man but I think he chose to point out things that are just flat out wrong and we need to realize that you can believe something and still criticize or acknowledge that yes that is just flat out wrong.
Above I failed to give some insight about the book. Since he is a louder person a lot of the topics are controversial so if you looking for a book to relax then this probably isn't it. It's very much his opinion on topics that split a lot of groups of people. If you are content with that type of content and view things his way then you probably wouldn't mind it but if you don't then you might have a tough time getting through it unless you wanted to see both sides of the coin. If that's the case then I commend you because it's tough.
An ok read, I didn't mind it because it aligns with my views probably more heavily so slightly bias.
lol nice!
