The cyclists Training Bible - Joe Friel
Yeah the cycling bible more like the how wordy can I make a book about cycling. It felt like when you are a student writing a paper and needed to hit a word count. I don't think this is a bad book but make sure you know you INTENTIONS for reading it. I read this book to create the most efficient and effective training program for my cycling season and I can confidently say I did not get that at all. With my intention he should've just asked what are your goals and did a flow chart to get to where you need to be and what you should do. Instead he elaborated on every minor thing to the point that I'd get lost, fill me with too much info and then say well at least now your program is complete. I'd read this book if and only if you want an exacerbated explanation of every little thing in regards to training, competition and cycling. This book is very much not cycling specific so a lot of the stuff you just learn from being athletics so when he explains it it's just so repetitive.
Only read if you have no knowledge of competition, training, workouts or actually anything cause he'll explain it all too you.
