Make your bed - Admiral William H. McRaven (bb)

I liked this one more than Scott (probably because Scott has read similar books to this that contain a more in depth message or at least this is what I gather from his review). Here is what I remember. One time in training McRaven was called out and had to go get wet and sandy (aka do a sugar cookie). He did not know why because he did nothing wrong. He asked why and the instructor said because life is not fair. I like this story. Also I remember they had to make their beds so well the commanding officer could bounce a quarter off of it. I have never done that in my life. There is also a good story about his military training in which the group had to stand neck high in the mud for hours.

I believe the structure of the book is a series of 10 tips. I think he wrote this book based on a university graduation speech that he gave.

I think this book has good advice based on good stories. It is short.

page it! (it is not the best book ever, but it is good)

p.s. it seems to me that every single book is a new york times best seller lol (can that be possible??? lol)

  1. yeah those awards have to be a scam, it doesn't make sense. Same with movies.
