Born To Run - Christopher Mcdougall

One of the earlier books that I read in my journey. A real cool story about someone questioning the whole do you need good shoes to perform well and then finding himself in another country witnessing greatness from a culture that was gifted in the art of running. I found it cool to hear about the stories and the discussion around barefoot running. I think we often think we need to super nice things in order to do well but actually 99% of it is hard work and effort. There is some humor along the way. I think my biggest issue with this book is that a lot of the stuff he talks about and describes in terms of these indengunous people is he almost describes them as magical like he was walked into the lion the witch and the wardrobe and came across these people living in huts like ewoks. So some is stretched but the message is cool.
