The Autobiography of Malcom X as Told to Alex Haley

This is a phenomenal book. You get a ton of different things out of it. Firstly you learn about the history of Malcom X and how influential he was in the word. Second you learn about his course to become muslim and how he adopted the views he adopted. Thirdly you get to see life through the lense of someone who was living in a time of intense oppression which is extremely relevant today and to me as someone who is not. It's a really good book since the story swings in so many different ways that it feels like you are learning the information he is learning and adapting to this new information in real time with him.

Definitely a recommended book.
