autobiography of gucci mane - Gucci Mane (Radric Delantic Davis) and Neil Martinez-Belkin
great book! read this if you like rap music! read this if you are a parent of a teenager who likes rap music! If you see gucci on the street you may form some opinion about him. This book will give you the full story. This book will also up your street cred (lol). You get to learn about the trap, lean (cough syrup mixed with soda), and how it is to grow up in the streets. You get to learn about Zaytoven and Bangladesh (made the beat for Lemonade), and other producers. You learn that Gucci is a really hard worker. You learn about the rise of Waka Flocka Flame (his mom was Gucci's manager for a time). You learn about the rise of Migos through Gucci. Migos recorded at Gucci's studio in atlanta. The funniest (not funny for Gucci) part is that he kept going back to jail around the time his albums would drop. Maybe he was nervous? You get to learn about the business side of recording. You get to learn about his famous icecream tattoo. He may or may not have killed someone (i will let you read and decide). You get an inside look at the relationship (often strained) between Gucci and Young Jeezy (now just Jeezy, another ATL rapper). This book is well researched because martinez-belkin worked at xxl for a long time.
You probably have read nothing like this book!
page it and enjoy!!
p.s. i dont think gucci is that great of a rapper (I prefer jeezy or wayne) but this book is still really good!
